"The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid."I could wax poetic about how delightful her stories are, about the gentlemen she created that I admire so--Mr. Darcy, Henry Tilney, and Col. Brandon, or about how donning a bonnet for an afternoon stroll or dancing at an assembly ball would be ideal entertainment, but there is no need. Those who love her as much as I know why, and those who don't are sadly missing out.
